Silver in Glasgow, Fire for the Future: My Commonwealth Games Journey
What an unbelievable week in Glasgow! Stepping into the ring at the SEC Centre wearing the national vest was an absolute privilege.
Walking away with a Commonwealth Games silver medal in the 80kg division is something I’m holding with pure gratitude. While every fighter steps into the squared circle aiming for that top spot on the podium, bringing home silver is a massive blessing. As the saying goes, Commonwealth silver medallist doesn’t sound too shabby at all!
Every bout out there in Glasgow tested me, pushed me, and taught me valuable lessons. Boxing is a journey where you never stop learning, and I’m taking every single experience from this tournament back to the gym to keep growing, sharpening up, and coming back stronger. The energy from the Scottish crowd was electric, and being part of such a historic week of boxing for the squad was something special.
I’m truly humbled by all the support that’s poured in from day one. I don’t take a single message, prayer, or high-five for granted.
Massive Love & Thanks 🥊
