That’s my motto — a simple phrase that reminds me that focus, resilience, and belief can take you further than anything else.

Hi, I’m Dimeji or simply D— thanks so much for stopping by my website and taking a moment to read my story. It honestly means a lot, and I really appreciate it.

I’m a Team GB boxer and professional athlete, but first and foremost, I’m just a regular guy from Harold Hill in Romford with big dreams, and I’ve always been the type who loved all kinds of sports.

My journey into boxing actually started by accident — I was 16 when I first walked into Five Star Boxing Gym, just tagging along with my friends to check it out. But from that first day, I was hooked. Boxing quickly became a huge part of my life, and under the guidance of my coach (and great friend) Eddie Kelly, I began to grow not only as an athlete but as a person. Eddie has been there from the very beginning — coaching me, guiding me, and supporting me through every up and down. He’s still a massive part of my journey today, and I hope that never changes.

In 2020, I won my first National Amateur Championship — then went on to win it again, along with the Haringey Box Cup. In 2021, I became an ABA Champion, which opened the door for me to join Team GB — something I’m incredibly proud of. Since then, I’ve competed internationally and brought home a few medals:

• 🥉 Bronze at the Stranja Cup
• 🥈 Silver at the Boxam Tournament
• 🥇 Gold at the Sheffield Tournament

Even now, while training with Team GB, Five Star Gym still feels like my second home. It’s where it all began.

Outside the ring, I’m a big believer in enjoying life — I love good music, good food, and good company. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies; it helps me relax and unwind after tough training sessions.

Looking ahead, my big goal is to qualify for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games — and hopefully bring home a medal.
